The PIER PLUS profile PIER Climate and Coast brings together researchers from the University of Hamburg, Hereon, GIGA, the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, and the Technical University of Hamburg who conduct research in this field. In addition, the University of Hamburg’s CLICCS Cluster of Excellence is designed to foster close collaboration and brings together experts from numerous research institutions in the metropolitan region.
