The use of (large scale) equipment in technology platforms is becoming increasingly important in providing researchers with efficient and sustainable scientific instruments and services. A collaborative partnership within the PIER research infrastructure offers the opportunity to harness synergies in the utilization of equipment and expert support, thereby optimally aligning with the needs of scientific actors in the Hamburg metropolitan region.
