Call for Presentations: “Climate-friendly mobility”

One of the aims of the PIER PLUS Profile “Climate-friendly mobility” is to develop synergy effects between the research groups active in the metropolitan region and to identify new interdisciplinary issues.

To this end, this profile is organizing a full-day lecture event for researchers/doctoral candidates in this field on

September 11, 2025
at the Bucerius Law School, Helmut Schmidt Auditorium, Jungiusstraße 6, Hamburg

This includes the following thematic clusters:

  • Logistics Concepts
  • Mobility and Drive Technologies
  • Mobility Concepts
  • Mobility Infrastructure and Fuels
  • Frame Conditions and Cross-cutting Aspects

Researchers/doctoral candidates who are working on the topics addressed in the Hamburg metropolitan region are cordially invited to actively contribute to this event with a presentation/poster.

Please send a one-page abstract to PIERmobilitaet"AT"TUHH.de with the following information by August 10, 2025:

  • Title of your contribution
  • Authors and/or institution
  • Short abstract in German or English
  • Presentation request (poster and/or lecture)
  • Assignment to the sub-areas / clusters described above

You will be notified of the acceptance of your submission by August 20, 2025. Participation in the event is free of charge for presenters. The abstracts will be published electronically on the PIER PLUS website after the event.
